Cleaning Instructions

For your health and to keep your UriGent Bedside Urinal working properly, it is recommended that you or a helper empty the urine tank daily and rinse it. Wash the urinal, the urine tank, and the hose at least once a week with a toilet cleaning detergent. We recommend using the Force of Nature cleaner as described below. It should eliminate all odors and sanitize your UriGent Bedside Urinal.

Force of Nature uses an electrical current to transform salt, water, and vinegar into two powerful ingredients: hypochlorous acid (HOCl) and sodium hydroxide.

Hypochlorous Acid - an antimicrobial so gentle it’s used in wound care, eye care & veterinary products – and kills 99.9% of germs.

Sodium Hydroxide - the detergent that dissolves grease, grime & soap scum. Gentle concentration of just .0000003%.

Together, these two ingredients create your all-in-one cleaner, deodorizer, and EPA-registered disinfectant.
