Safety Warning & Tips

DO NOT push UriGent unevenly on one side, hard sideways, or backward, or push toward the front forcefully when using. Use your UrGent carefully to prevent tip-over and injury. The UriGent is designed for good stability, pushing Urgent too hard in any direction could result in tip-over.
For your health and to keep your UriGent working properly, it is recommended that you or a helper empty the urine tank daily and rinse it. Wash the urinal, collector tank, and hose at least once a week with a toilet cleaning detergent .We recommend, Lysol Toilet Cleaner. That should eliminate all odors and sanitize your UriGent as well.
To make standing up to urinate easier, lock the back and front wheels and push the rear wheels under the bed or the chair. This will help move your body inside the UriGent with legs right at the urinal. Touch the light on top if needed to be sure that you are positioned at the urinal and to prevent spills. Unlock wheels to easily move UriGent.
Use the UriGent lower handles and upper grab bar if needed to help you stand and urinate safely. Be sure not to tip your UriGent as you stand up.
The upper grab bar is meant to be installed angled away from the user for safety and most comfortable use. If installed toward the user, it is not as useful to stabilize you.
